Returns & Exchanges Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Schleider Furniture. This policy explains how returns and exchanges are handled for regular in-stock inventory, mattresses, and special-order items.

Regular In-Stock Inventory

Mattress Returns & Exchanges

Return/exchange window Within 30 days, only after the Buyer completes a 10-day sleep trial beginning on the delivery date.
Protector requirement At the time the mattress is purchased, the Buyer must also purchase a breathable, waterproof mattress protector and use it continuously.
Condition required The mattress must show no evidence of soiling, damage, or wear, and the original law tag must remain attached.
Why the protector is required The mattress-protector requirement helps ensure that any returned mattress remains sanitary and does not pose a contamination risk to other products when restocked or stored in the warehouse.

 

Refund Method & Timing

All refunds are reduced by any applicable trip charges, special-order restocking fees, and any other amounts authorized by this policy. No restocking fee applies to eligible regular inventory items that were in stock on the day of sale or already on order by the store for replenishment.

Special Order Items

Special-order items require a 50% down payment before the order is placed. Because these items are made or selected with customer-specific fabrics, finishes, or other options, they may be difficult to resell if returned. Returns and exchanges of special-order items are therefore limited as outlined below.

Special-Order Restocking Fees
