There are all sorts of Delivery Professionals, from people who drive-and-drop packages at the front door to folks whom customers trust to be inside their home, helping with the last step of a very personal purchase. 

Schleider Furniture and Mattress Company is a family-owned business, one of the oldest continuously operated businesses in Washington County.  Our co-workers tend to stay with us a long time. In fact, some have built their entire careers here in a setting where we are usually self-managed by our roles and where we pitch in to help each other when two hands aren’t enough. 

We view the Delivery Professional role as a 50/50 mix of labor and excellent customer service.  In this role, you are the LAST person to interact with our customers whether you are installing furniture in their home or helping them load it into their own vehicle at our loading dock.  That’s why we say that the Delivery Professional provides Schleider’s last chance to make a good impression on our customers.

Our Delivery Professionals may or may not start out with furniture or delivery experience, but they all will eventually collect interesting stories about getting our inventory out the door and into its new home.  If you’re someone who loves to drive, shows up every day ready to work, and respects both yourself and your customers, then talk to us about joining Schleider’s warehouse and delivery team at our location in downtown Brenham, Texas.
